Hi, I'm Della

I am a Natural History Producer and Director with a deep love for storytelling and the wonders of the natural world. 

My journey began as a wildlife ranger, where I saw the incredible beauty of nature and the challenges it faces. I believed that if people could see the world through my eyes, they would be inspired to care. This belief led me to the world of film and television, the most powerful mediums to reach and inspire a wide audience.

Hand-picked by UWE and the BBC Natural History Unit, I transitioned from the outback to the highest levels of wildlife filmmaking. Through this training, I developed a knack for producing and directing complex shoots for some of the world’s leading broadcasters. 

Drawing on my background in Environmental Science, I specialise in uncovering unique stories and securing exclusive access to create impactful sequences with high-end camera technology and  I’ve had the privilege of working on incredible projects around the world. 

I wanted to create a space where filmmakers, creatives, and brands could bring their visions to life, a place that embodies the beauty and inspiration I find in nature. This led to the founding of Tweed Valley Studio—a haven nestled in the serene rural landscape of Northern NSW.
